A new start
It all begins with an idea……..
Welcome to our new website…and a new start.
Well its been a chaotic few years. I’m now a home ed mother, something I never expected but now a year on I can safely say it’s the best decision we ever made!
Is life easy? NO!
We’ve had to change a lot and we’re still on the rollercoaster but we’re loving the ride!
Alongside my chiropractic clinic, I run and coach within my charity Parklands Riding for the Disabled - which I love! My time within the RDA is donated time which running my clinic allowed me to do, however, now suddenly a home ed mum I needed to consider the time I need educating my kids, running the farm & all the maintenance that goes with it and keeping my human & animal clinics running……HOW????
I’ve always shared my animal clinic between horses and dogs and my husband Warrick is absolutely a dog person (horses are slowly growing on him lol). To manage my time better I made the really hard decision to reduce my equine clinic! I love treating horses but I could not justify the time spent driving between clients - dogs can come to me - and i love them just as much as horses.
That decision seemed to set the fates in motion. We happened to find a local hydrotherapy business who had decided to sell up. Hydrotherapy was something I did before the delightful HS2 took my stables from me - I never managed to set it back up as my kids came along - but now seemed the perfect time.
So, Warrick’s gone off to get himself qualified in hydrotherapy, we’re converting our barns and we’ll be opening in the New Year. Working together as a family all on site means I can divide my time between helping the kids with their online school, running my clinics in the afternoons/evenings and still finding time to do the RDA. Hubby & wife teamwork!! (and the grandparents live on site too which helps).
So here we are, a canine rehab & chiropractic clinic.
I’ll still be seeing people too, also with a special interest in rehab & movement therapy.
The websites still under construction so please excuse any typo’s but we’re really looking forward to our new future adventures as a family x
